I have used a pair of DDR2 1066 Ballistix in a P5Q Pro and Deluxe without issue, so I would imagine you shouldn't have much of an issue.

I'm running a P5Q Pro and have been very happy with it. I've got an E8400 at 4 ghz using 8.5 x 470 fsb. I'm using 2 gb Transcend Axe Ram 800 (D9) and 2 gb Corsair Dominator 1066 that I swap in and out still not sure which I like better. The Transcend does seem to clock a little higher with the D9s. Either way I run them 1:1 at 940 Mhz, 4-4-4-12 timings. I'm using a Ket modded bios that I found on another site which enables the premium RAM tables and other bios options found on the more expensive versions, really has performed well with this.

My P5Q's been running well for over 3 1/2 months now, no complaint's, although maybe I should have gotten the Pro version for the extra PCI-E slot.

This thread should be one of those with signature and result.I wouldd beg the the one who opened it to grab few results and copy it into the first page and add *Official* to the thread name.

Has anyone changed out the stock North and South compound for MX-2 or AS5? I also bought this Enzotech MST-81 Forged Copper Mosfet Heatsink that was left off of the Asus P5Q Pro board.

Nope, I figured the stock NB and SB cooling is fine unless your going to do some extreme OC'ing.

Well went ahead and setup the p5q pro even though my ip35pro ended up being ok. The asus is a open box that i got from the egg. Installing vista/other stuff on it now.

Went with my extremeII on the NB, hr07 on the sb and a homemade aluminum block thing on the mosfets. Water cooling the cpu.

Now the question is you guys got any pointers/bios settings for getting a good oc/high fsb with this board. Alot of the stuff is vastly different then the abit boards Ive had for some time now. Havnt had a asus board since the p5b-deluxe came out.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Turn loadline calibration ON
set as much as you can manualy,
for 4.0 you should go for 1.33V and 450fsb,
i think you won't have problems.
