Okay I turned on my computer for the first time just to see if I had the front panel switches plugged in right and i got a peep with the code 7F I read a doc files that says Check post error? Could this be because I don't have my graphics card installed?

yep that's it the same number on my x48 when i tried to install the 8800 gpu , so i assume it has to do with the GPU

What up bro! Need to get on so we can chat! I got pics Well I don't get my gpu until monday today I got everything else So i decided to do cable management and get it ready so all i got to do is install the gpu and go. One of my A.C Ryans died already So I may give PPCS a call and see what they can do about it.

ummmmm I dont have a problem with my 8800gts and DFI x48..maybe because mine is a g80?

"Power on" -> stop at 7F

Possible causes:

1) Checksum error (can be caused by changing/adding device CPU,Ram,GPU,ect)
2) After CCMOS action
3) Onboard battery is empty
4) overclocking issue
5) *MB is defective on battery circuit*

Possible Fixes:

1) Load optimized defaults
2) Revising bios settings
3) Replace battery
4) Decrease OC
5) *RMA*

mine had a problem so i had to RMA ,and yea i tried my g80 but did not see it why? dont know cause it will work fine with my 8500

Yea, I haven't got my gpu yet so I'm hoping thats why I'm hoping once I pop it in its good.
