I installed a new sound card and then the mobo wouldn't boot. I removed it and reset the CMOS and on the mobo it is showing error 7F, which is "check POSt error and display them and ask for user intervention".
Any suggestoins on how to resolve this? |

Then there is a video card detection issue caused when you inserted the sound card. Try removing a card and clearing the CMOS.

From inserting a sound card? Try inserting the card into a different PCIe slot and check if OS detects it.

I checked the gpu in another computer. The fan didnt come on and no video. I was running F@H and the machine rebooted. I forgot to set the fan speed to always come up at 80%. When I checked the machine the core temp was 107-110c and was running for a day or so. Everything else is good though.
