Anyone know which heatsinks fit on the Gigabyte EP45-UD3R that dont hit the NB cooler when mounted horizontally? I'm looking at heatsinks from OCZ, Sunbeam, Xigmatek, Scythe and Thermalright. I don't want to spend $60+ before taxes.

The EP45-UD3R has low profile heatsinks so that it doesn't interfere with the CPU heatsinks. You should be able to mount pretty much any heatsink that you want to with this motherboard.

Dude, get the xigmatek. It is cheap, looks great, and most importantly, keeps your CPU Iceeeeeey.

I'd take a Xigmatek HDT- S1283 with a bolt through kit over that. Also I'm pretty sure the Xigmatek costs less and cools better.

I'm mainly looking at the Sunbeam Core Contact and OCZ Gladiator. I want to try to hit close to 4GHz with a e8400. So I want something decent ($60 tops before taxes) but nothing close to $100, already spending too much on other stuff.
