The temps seem fine, but I think everybody else with the idea of reseating the gfx card is right. Sounds like you guys might have bumped it a bit, which would cause the lines and the blank screen.

Oh i forgot, everything is still at stock.
The high temps are obviously because of not adding new TIM. I'm really bothered why it wouldn't boot up before tho. The things i explained is what he told me, I won't be able to touch anything untill saturday.

ok, update
His pc apparantly shutted down again, and he couldn't boot it up till now. he told me he had an error saying "pci parity error" I'm guessing this problem seems to be mobo related?

OK, so i bought some TIM
Coolermaster premium. Even came with a flexible card thing so i can drag out the paste. I'll apply this today and have a look on what the problem might be. it would be verry gratefull is someone could clear out what that message meant in the previous post

PCI Parity Error is usually associated with the PCI slot dieing, the PCI switch dieing, a driver error, or your northbridge dieing. You said you nudged the card, remove it with the power off, and plug it back in, that should fix it if there are no hardware faults.

Does his board have another PCI-E x16 Slot? If so, just move into that.

I took out the GPU and applied TIM on the CPU.
Strange thing is, at first i kept booting without posting. Took out the gpu, ram, ect and reseated them. Pc booted like normal, and we haven't had any issues till now. His temps are great now to. at clock settings its below 40 on full load, without the scythe fan running. Quote:

Meh, it shutted down again.
He's gonna RMA the entire thing. My guess is either the cpu or mobo causing the problem. He says he gets alot of errors in vista aswell, but i doubt vista would actually make a pc shutdown and unable to boot.
