I doubt its the psu. Although its only 380w, its very efficient and has enough voltage on all rails. If you doubt this, you could try it on a different rig.

Having a similar issue with this board. I RMA'd it and it was the same thing. I have heard of people disabling the "detect legacy usb" option, which allowed them to boot with the desired oc settings, but this isnt working for me.
Interested in your results. |

i was able OC to 3.5ghz(actually i want to OC more but due to high vcore needed i might stay at 3.5ghz) 1.44v for 3.5ghz. i think it is best for us to include our setting in this page, what do you think? i am having problem though with my Ram(kingston HyperX 800mhz) do any of you able to overclock it successfully to 1000++ and live with it?

I'm a newbie at overclocking, so what i'm about to say may be totally off but...
__________________might your problem have to do with the Intel GMA 3100 integrated graphics? i did not see you mention having a dedicated gpu.. I say this b/c with my old Athlon 3000+ emachines, when i was running on the integrated Geforce4MX, i couldn't raise the FSB 4MHz without having boot problems. after i installed my 6800gt though, I was able to raise the FSB by 15-17MHz easy. I'm thinking this was the case b/c the RAM is shared with the integrated graphics. Also, i think the integrated graphics might be the cause of your problem b/c i've searched around a lil on google for GA-G31M-ES2L overclocking and the people having problems have not mentioned anything about having a dedicated graphics installed.. again, of course i could be way off and you actually already have a dedicated graphics installed.. edit: i almost forgot to mention.. i read from successful E5200 + GA-G31M-ES2L overclockers that adding aftermarket cooling on the northbridge greatly helped them OC, as it runs really hot stock.
