Bios P03 works with the PERC 5I card, P04 and above do not. Hopefully Foxconn can tell me what the issue is so I can get the card to work on the latest bios.

So, do you need a 965 to really push the mem? I can run my 920 at 4.3 HT off
but to get 2000 mem i would need to run uncore 4.1 (20) and mem 2000 (10)
whenever i try it, epic fail. I have tried g19a p06 and p07.. I am running 1600 mem
know to do 2000 (mushkin, dominators (i have 2 sets.) this just aint gonna work is it?

Emmett.

I know Bei Fei was having problems with his OCZ Blade 2000Mhz chips and it turned out to be the cpu. Once he swapped out his chip with a 3841A, he was able to get everything running smoothly. If you have a second chip or a friend with one try that or try the ram in a differnt setup to see what it will do. Possible the Ram just won't do it.

I'm about to be in your guy's boat. I going to by a Foxconn BloodRage next week. What do you think if this ram. OCZ Reaper HPC 6GB DDR3 1800 + Foxconn BloodRage. I know you have to OC them to get to work. Anyone know anything about that?

I wish i can help you out on those ram, since im still waiting for rma from newegg (getting a little impatient). I have the xmp rams on mine http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227388. I had a little trouble with mine in the bios, i selected the profile 2 so i would be running 1800 speed but it would not post. hopefully the new board will be better in configuring the bios.

I was finally able to boot into windows @ 2000 9-9-9-27 1t but it was very unstable. I had to increase QPI PLL to 1.96 from 1.8 and ram voltage from 1.62 to 1.65. However I cannot clock my D9GTS/GTR to 1600. I have ran all the sticks on my 790i ultra board @ 2000 7-8-8-20 no problem 1.9~2.0 VDIMM. Hopefully I will find the magic setting that will allow me to run my ram at a good speed.

Try your uncore voltage. Since the memory controller is on the chip now I am pretty sure that is the voltage that controls that part.
