I Bloodrage owner friends! I recently got my Bloodrage and I would like to join the club. I am having problems with it though. If someone can possibly give me some advice I would greatly appreciate it http://www.overclock.net/overclocker...ml#post7411760

I don't want to start a flame war, but I want to know why you guys went with

Foxconn Bloodrage over an asus board like:
Asus p6t deluxe
Asus Rampage II

I'm just doing research, and all I need to figure out is what mobo to use on my gaming rig (and what LCD monitor). I will be a first time OCer, and will get a XIGMATEK Dark Knight cooler for my D0 i7 920. Any recommendations?

Corsair 1000HX
Corsair Dominator 2x3gb DDR3 1600
ATi 4870 1gb
HAF 932

Mostly OCN recommendations. People said it outperformed the p6t, and was closer to the Rampage II for cheaper.

Thanks for the quick response. People are telling me not to get the ASUS Rampage II and corsair dominator 6gb DDR3 1600 for my gaming rig. They say it's too expensive. Looks like I can join your foxconn bloodrage club, and maybe pick up some gskill patriot 2000 or gskills.

For a 24/7 rig the RE is a waste(although even as a benching board its not worth it) as is 2000mhz ram. The BR is a good board because it clocks as well as a Classy but without all the cost. I have both a BR GTi and a X58 LE and I would recomend both boards to anyone looking at an X58 board. The pwm system is also superior to that on the P6T.

Wrong place to ask, but starbuck I see you have OCZ Gold. Would you recommend that memory? And how does it OC?

I would agree with you except for the clocking as good as the Classy, at least not in my case. I own both the Bloodrage and the Classy and my Classy kicks the crap out of my Bloodrage on my D0. Don't get me wrong, the Bloodrage could too but it requires the PCI-E Frequency hard-mod to do so.
