Not stable at all. Just validation. Used a few pounds of DICE for about 3 1/2 hour run last night. Only limiting factor was having to work today and getting to bed by 3 am.

For some reason I can't get my PC stable and I think the problem lies in the Corsairs and the timing. If anyone could help that would be great.

Wow nice setup! Loving the dual 4870s. Ok first, add your rig into your sig in the User CP. Then tell us your overclocking settings. I believe i have the same ram as you. Timings are 5-5-5-18. Set them at stock for now. I would get everything set at stock including the core clock, vcore etc. Then do the ram timings. Next i would drop the ram clock speed massively to something like 600mhz. This will rule out ram instability. Then i would increase the fsb by a few mhz at a time. Run Orthos stress testing or Prime95 for a few hours. If it's stable, repeat the process, stress, increase. Keep doing it until you get unstable and can't fix it. I would also suggest saving your bios settings every so often.

Time to play with this board again!

Planning some voltmodding tonight.

Here are some threads that discuss the topic on the i45.

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=194136

http://www.ocxtreme.org/forumenus/showthread.php?t=3476

The discussion is a bit convoluted and the ultimate answer is ambiguous. I'll post some pics of what i did a bit later (and whether it works).

I have one also, but need a template to o/c my E8500 on air? I have always used ASUS, so this bios is much different.

Started Voltmodding tonight, but I'd like to get some higher amp switches before proceeding any further.

Currently, I'm limiting my endeavors to OVP, Vcore and Vdroop mods, though I may need to do FSB and Vdimm in the future......

Enough talking. Time for some pics!

These are my pictures on my board. This is what I decided to do after combing through those threads I posted earlier.
