If you want to read how fast your fans are going, (a max of 4 you can put on the board) you place them off your motherboard and the rest off the PSU, If you don't then plug them into the PSU, and you will have extra room on your board for fans you might place on your CPU cooler (if it takes more then 1 fan)

Ok so I have the NZXT Tempest case and a Corsair 650TX PSU. I installed it in the bottom of the case and the PSU fan is facing down toward the bottom of the case. It is about a little more than 1/2" clearance between the PSU and the bottom of the case. Is this fine? I don't want it to overheat. Thanks.
