Default Anyone know the max transfer rate for these =\

I ordered the P6T6 WS Revolution motherboard (Link) and was wondering if anyone knew the max read/write speed i could get with the sata (Intel ICH10R) and/or sas (Marvell 88SE6320 SAS)controller? I currently have 3 OCZ vertex's.. =] thanks!

Not sure of the exact transfer rates, but without a dedicated RAID card you are most likely going to hit a wall. Those things can be crazy fast.

aw dang.. =[ yeah i heard that on a mobo raid i could prob be fine with 2 but 3 prob going to hit a wall (max trans was like .. 400mbs ish..) :P *sigh*

I think you will be fine with 3, the ICH10 are very good chips and will probably get you the 600mb/s but be sure to prepare(align) the Vertex before the install OS. Here is the guide on how to raid them correctly.
