I know this is random but I thought I'd post this. Look at the stepping, voltage, and temps!!

Sorry to break it for you but even though Nvidia got better bandwidth and latency then Intel, Nvidia doesn´t performce as good as Intel chipset board in real applications.

About the UD3, that´s one of the best up to date when it come to OC and specially 45nm quad, any other board are struggle with that, so if you trade this board for a Nvidia board you making a misstake if you ask me.

I have compared 780i vs X48, P45 with DDR2 and 790i vs X48, P45 with DDR3 and Intel always have the upper hand even the P45, sure nvidia chipset board are somewhat easier to OC then Intel chipset board but one have more options to use and fine tune with a Intel chipset board.

That´s my humble opinion.

BTW, I notice in you sig this "Performance isn't everything, it's the ONLY thing", then it´s even more strange that you want to go with Nvidia and that you don´t know about how things work, you should read those article that was in one of my previous posts, here´s a quote from Anandtech and their ASUS ROG Rampage Formula: Why we were wrong about the Intel X48 article:

"Have you ever stopped to wonder how the Memory Control Hub (MCH) manages to transfer data from the system bus (FSB) to the memory bus and vice versa? Maybe you questioned why it was not possible to run your memory at any speed you desired, independent of the selected FSB. While there have been some chipsets that provide this capability, performance was rather spotty at times depending on the particular settings in use. In fact, these systems often resulted in the creation of rather large ranges of bus speed and memory speed ratios that refused to function, stable or otherwise. The concept was certainly fair enough, but at the time a well-engineered implementation turned out to be far more difficult that anyone may have been willing to concede. It should not come as a surprise that Intel chipsets have only allow the use of certain validated memory ratios - those same numbers we have grown to love (or hate) like 1:1, 5:4, 3:2, and so forth."

As long as I am getting the same OC on that board I'll be happy and there have been so many cases where people got better OC's than me (even same CPU) so I trust this board. Plus, I want to get another GTX280 soon so I need SLI and 780i is the best I can do without having to buy new RAM or going Core i7.
