Default What i7 board should i get?

I am looking at getting a i7 board and i have narrowed it down to two.

I need a board that Dose SLI, and if i can, a board that can do crossfire and SLI.

Should i get this EVGA
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813188049

Or should i get this Foxconn
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813186163

I was just going to get the EVGA, but i keep hearing that Foxconn bloodrage are really good.

What do you think?

I would like to know your stance on these boards, and what would you get?

as it stands right now i would go with the foxconn to many horror story's lately with evga, time to avoid them for a couple months. plus from what I've been reading the bloodrage is an awesome board, but the 3 ram slots is something to consider.

Go Foxconn, at least it is trusted. eVGA haven't really made a name for themselves yet with socket 1366 so stick with what you know.

Hope it helps.

Bloodrage for sure! The reason they only put 3 RAM slots on it is because is takes the strain off of the i7's built in memory controller, allowing it to overclock higher! I highly doubt you will ever need to use more than 3 slots anyway!

it was a joke. hence the "". the classified is way out of a LOT of people's budgets (especially mine).

on topic: the bloodrage board would be my suggestion. I love my evga board, but the bloodrage is a great x58 board

I'd go with the Gigabyte; GA-EX58-EXTREME since, along with a solid reputation and quality components, they now offer dual Bios on the MB, which will come very handy in hazardous situations like overclocking/Bios flashing!

Good luck!
