Well i flashed the bios to no aveil. Didnt help anything. still doing what was. Could the hard drive be bad even tho it chkdsk's and defrags??? I noticed when i defraged it, it said there were some files that couldnt be defraged. It reformats fine to?????

I'm still trying to figure out why this all would have started when the latest motherboard drivers were installed. Have you reformatted since that time?

not since i flashed new bios. Ive reinstalled windows 4 time today, reformating each time and updating everything???? Bout to drive me crazy

I dunno. I think you're handling it about 100 times better than I would. I would probably shut down and go to bed.

But anyway, let's try reformatting with the new BIOS and just see what happens. After all, we have the latest BIOS now, and because of this problem, there could be a chance that all that's left is one more reformat.

But, first: which motherboard drivers are you installing? If you're trying to install the latest ones, and if this problem has been occurring since you tried to install the latest drivers, then reformat and only use the drivers on the motherboard's installation CD. But, of course, don't let it install anything you know you don't need.

I forgot about this: I installed vegas2 after i flahed the bios, after installing the game it brought up a window and said i had no video card, no 3d renderind or exceleration and i needed to upgrade my hardware to play the game????? What the hell??? It didnt recognize me video card?? I think my mobo's going crazy
