havnt ran prime 95 yet so i dont know the load temps...but im idleing aroung 48c...i dont have the best water cooling set up so you know how it is..but if i can get rock stable at 4.4 then i will attempt pushing the chip even further with my phase change unit when im done building it...the mother board and my skillz will be only thing to hold back when try phase if i7 920,s had a higher multiplier it would be a different story...im looking for some tips on motherboard voltages im still fresh to core i7 and i dont want to kill my board

if you did priming and you won't noticed any unstable either hang or BSOD, then it means you're succeed

let me know how it goes- I have similar system and recently finished my first water cooling loop (cpu and mobo blocks) but havent tried further overclocking my 3.99 that I had stable on air and have just been trying to get temps down. currently 37.5c average over the 4 cores.
__________________curious to the voltages you end up with if you wouldnt mind sharing when you get stable (even tho we have dif mobo's)

You need more QPI/VTT voltage. Quite a bit more, actually. Try 1.3v
