Default Open Box Rampage II Extreme?

Has anyone had any luck with the Open Box Asus Rampage II Extremes? How's the luck on overclocking? I know that the board is supposed to be one of the better for overclocking the i7, but I'm just worried about it being an open box.

At $255, I think I can pass up the Classified, but I'm not going to spend the money if it's not going to overclock.

Also, did you get the SupremeFX card?

Open box quality is generally luck of the draw, but the SupremeFX card should definitely come with it. A lot of people get consistent good boards when they order open box so I wouldn't worry about it being crap, but it just MIGHT be.

As long as you can return it if you are unsatisfied, I would go ahead with the purchase.

I bought my Rampage II Extreme Open Box from newegg and it performs flawlessly. I have purchased the last 5 motherboards as open box, and I have not had a single problem.

I was able to OC my board to a 211 BCLK on the first try without any problems. I am currently running 201 BCLK with only 1.23v:

Here is my 24/7 stable OC with the board:

And no, I didnt get anything except the board. But an Open Box ASUS Xonar will work nicely.

Thanks for all the responses and the experience ericod. I'm definitly going to pick this up asap with a nice set of 2000mhz Tridents to go along with it. This thread definitly helped make this decision really easy.
