Check out the image below. When an LED is lit next to the printed code on the PCB, then you know that's the code it's giving you:

Nah, it's all good. If it weren't for that picture, then I would have been just as confused. I was actually getting ready to e-mail them and say something like "are you sure about that?" hehe

The image is too small to make out details. Do you mean each LED is labelled with like ram/video/etc and it lights up to indicate which is generating the error?

In this image I see 4 LEDs. The first LED is labeled S0. The second is S1. The third is S3. The 4th says S4/5. Just above the 4 LEDs - and barely in the photo -, I see "LED". Perhaps it says something else besides just "LED", however, that's all I can make out from this photo. I sure wish they would have explained where it is on the PCB. So, since the didn't, I'm going to download the manual for the UD3R and see if it says where this is. I zoomed in on the UD3R at Newegg, and I couldn't find this. So, just a minute.

I found it. It's discussed on pages 26 and 27 of this manual: http://america.gigabyte.com.tw/FileL...5-ud3(r)_e.pdf

By "page 26 and 27", I mean the Adobe Acrobat pages, so type them in on the toolbar. I'll post a screenshot of the location of the LEDs in about 3 minutes.

I'm not 100% sure, but according to the manual, I think the LEDs are in the center of the red circle:
