Default Random Reboots w/ Enhanced Intel SpeedStep

The problem only seems to happen when I have the Enhanced Intel SpeedStep and C1 or w/e it's called enabled. Can't remember the exact term. Computer just randomly turns off and then a few seconds later starts up again. Sometimes it will be fine for hours and others it won't even make it into windows before rebooting again. I have the things disabled right now and haven't had any problems yet but I may just be on a lucky streak like I mentioned before about how it isn't consitent.

Another thing is my motherboard has an 8 pin EPS12v plug on it but I'm only running it with a 4 pin. Could this be at fault? Perhaps the PSU is dieing?I do have another 4 pin connector labeled CPU 2 but the shapes don't match up. It does fit though because the rounded pins will still go into the square holes. The manual is very vague about the connectors in both the PSU one and the motherboard's.

is there a reason that you want them on? typicly i just leave them off.

as to the power connector: it should be fine with just the four pin. can you describe better what you mean with the second plug though? maybe post pics?

Uhmmm... no camera but I made something in paint.

As for wanting them on... Well, it'd be nice if things just worked as they were intended especially since I'm running stock until my Mega Shadow arrives. Won't have them enabled once I start overclocking but the fact that it doesn't work leads me to believe there is a problem with something.

Edit: Well, I found a guide on the OCZ forums for my PSU and I am supposed to plug them both into the motherboard's 8 pin. Why they made it so that it doesn't match properly I have no idea. It is misleading. Issue appears to be resolved.
