Even @ $249 for several months, I wouldn't have jumped on it because there was no free shipping and tax would add up. I jumped on the deal just case because the Bloodrage is my number 2nd in my list. I want the new GIGABYTE x58a mobos (have been waiting since Aug), if nothing pops out from GIGABYTE, then at least I have the Bloodrage.
![]() I never expected to pay less than $200 for a x58 mobo. My estimate from the get-go was around $270-$300.

Yeah, you got to love when Newegg not only moves the price, but raises it to new levels. The classified 760 went from being $364 after rebate to $389 after rebate. You could attribute this to them having the 759 back in stock, but come on Newegg. You would think after the whole SSD fiasco that they would stop price gouging people, especially in this economy.

Good board as long as you are not doing SLI or CF from what I hear. You could also do the Flaming Blade from Ewiz for $175 and TD has the EVGA Micro for $210, very good board. Also, it looks like they have a sale on the XFX x58 board for $200, nice board, lifetime warranty and the warranty can go with the board if you sell it. Anyway, you have a lot of choices and sometimes that's a PITA, but I would just figure out what I want to spend (really spend) and what feature I need and go with the board that fits that criteria. I really do not think you will make a bad choice regardless of which one you go with.
