Anyway, seems ok for now.
It would be a good idea to update the bios, it might be a bug.

It happened again this morning, but again, after leaving it for a few minutes it booted.

I can get into the bio now, what settings did you change ?

Either narrow it down to a problematic component, ie. faulty memory stick, or send the motherboard back to the supplier as an RMA.

Try running with only 1 stick of memory, CPU, Graphics and see if it boots. Disconnect all HDDs, Optical drives, additional fans etc.

Again, if you are still experiencing problems, I would also try a different PSU - you'd be surprised how many bizarre problems a dodgy PSU can cause.

Once you've tested all of those things, it is most likely to be the motherboard.

I've tried unplugging HDD's, Optical Drive, fans etc. but still the same.. I've also tried different RAM too.

I've asked this once but know one answered me, but could it be that the battery on the motherboard needs changing?

Usually not. If the battery goes dead, the PC just loses the settings stored in the CMOS. The Clock, any changes you made from defaults in the BIOS... But it does not usually keep you from booting the computer. Some older BIOS's actually make you enter the BIOS to set the clock when the battery goes dead, and it can't pull a time from the CMOS.

Have you reseated the CPU?
