I have the Rampage II Extreme and I still would recommend the P6T V2 for the OP who wants to OC to 4.0GHz.

The R2E has the advantage of being able to set the x21 multi without relying on the Turbo mode and speedstep. It does have a few more bios options to tweak, and tends to OC with better voltages. But it is more then anyone will ever use TBH.
