Is it possible to do this. im on stock clocks on my 920 and in CPU-Z it says 1.24v. i want to go way below that cuz i know 2.6GHZ doesnt need that much voltage.

It's very possible. That's actually one of the ways some people prefer to tweak their builds. I mean, some people prefer to do this instead of overclocking. Just be sure to do good stress testing so that you know it's stable.

same im hoping at lease 1.1xxx voltage. should lower my temps as well


Also for some reason Evga Precision doesnt come up when i double click it on my desktop. maybe i need to get my GPu drivers. ill do that tomorrow

i dont have my graphics cards drivers installed yet. my internet is really slow right now and it was downloading them at like 10kb/s so ill just try again tomorrow.

just set your overclock you want, dont touch the voltages, then if needed drop the volts.

or if your on stock, just try a random number below 1.24, make suer you enable OC recovery in the bios though

im not overclocking. i jhust want ot lower stock voltage so im not running at 1.24v making my temps some what higher then they should
