Hey everyone I was wondering if anybody had a problem similar to mine.
__________________When windows 7 starts up programs such as Realtemp 3.39, Coretemp, and newFSB are unable to run for the first 2-3 minutes. For example I will double click to open one of them and absolutely nothing happens - then 3 minutes later it just pops up as if I just opened it. After the first 2-3 minutes I can close and open the programs without any delay at all. The other thing that is really weird is that my lan connection icon in the system tray has the windows "thinking circle" over it for the exact first 2-3 minutes after windows loads and then like magic it goes back to normal. The internet works fine during this time. Every other program I have like steam, IM, Firefox all load instantly and work fine. I fresh installed windows 7 about a week ago and did not have this problem at all with my stable settings until yesterday when I tried to push an overclock above my stable settings. The OC failed ITB and when I reset all the settings to stable (and I even tried stock defaults) this problem is still happening. I have found one other person with a similar problem (he had a Q9450 and a 780i board) and he said he was never able to find a permanent fix. Reinstalling windows would fix it for a bit but then it would come back. I have posted this problem in the Realtemp forums at this link because I originally thought this was a Realtemp issue. http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=107509 We were able to narrow it down to NOT being a Realtemp issue but thats about it.

I had that happen...forgot what I did to fix it though
anything that had to read a sensor wouldn't open up within 2 minutes of bootup...not sure what was going on, I think I disabled a service and it stopped
