Do you guys recon this is worth it? http://www.pcpowerplay.com.au/forums...d.php?t=120499

I imagine this motherboard will be able to get to 4.4 ghz overclock on an i7 920?

can't comment on the price but you may want to wait another 2 months since Gigabyte's 24 phase power X58 boards are coming out

mm Yes, problem is I need a new computer within 6 days, anyone got an idea of perhaps the cheapest x58 motherboard that can last me untill the new ones?

I forgot about the flaming blade, but I can get it for 275 here in australia, so I may as well grab the extreme for 300 i guess. Flaming blade also got bad reviews from atomicmpc I think have to check. Does the ud3r take tri channel ram? I can get that one for 250 which is decent if I will replace it in 2 months.

Yes the UD3R runs Tri-Channel thats what im running.
