Exclamation Who has the Asrock P4VM890 mobo??

Hey,

I got a New Mobo for my Downloading server

Its a Asrock P4VM890

got it for 1.5$

And i need to ask if i can Overclock my 2.4GHz to abt 3.0-40ghz

That doesn't mean jack, I have the exact motherboard on my third computer and I can indeed confirm that it doesn't have a voltage control. I even updated it to the latest firmware off of ASRock and still, no voltage control.

Anything cheap basically, a 8500 GT will do fine, but if you're planning to play games on a Socket 478, don't have high hopes.

The modern games that you can play on a Socket 478 is Guild Wars and Counter-Strike 1.6/Source. Settings all set to lowest. With the exception of Guild Wars, Medium.

You can also forget Left 4 Dead, as soon as the so called "Scary Music" comes, your character is not dead, your computer is, because it will lag so hard, to the point you'll hard reset it
