Default SATA 6gb/s and USB 3.0 mobos now available in the UK!

Have done a quick search and didn't see this posted before but my apologies if I missed it and this has already been posted.

Come across this today, it seems the SATA 3 and USB 3 mobo's are now available in the UK, just in time for xmas, suprisingly...

The boards are all Gigabyte P55A boards with model numbers UD3, 4, 5 and UD6, they each offer 2 x SATA 6gb/s slots and 2 x USB 3.0 ports, and are suprisingly low priced, I expected this technology to come in at a much higher price and slowly decrease as is usually the case.

Also, the fist SATA 6gb/s hard drive is available to buy aswell, its the Seagate Barracuda XT 2TB and the figures according to the website are:
- Cache: 64MB
- Interface: SATA 6Gb/s
- Spin Speed: 7200RPM
- Warranty: 3 Years

I've got a feeling though that the SATA 6gb/s will be the platform SSD's use to really make their speed advantage tell and become mainstreem components as prices fall.

Here are the links to the products via overclockers, but a few other sites such as Scan are also offering them so you may want to hunt around a little for better prices!

The last review I checked stated that the marvell sata 3 controller sucked in comparison to intel's controller. No idea on how usb 3.0 performs
