Q9400 INTEL QUADCORE AND UD3P Motherboard is the system.
I don't seem able to go over 3.10-3.2 GHz overclock then it crashes or is unstable. Can someone take pity on me and help me with some step by step details? Most times people talk WAY over my head so could you use more layman terms with me? Thanks p.s. If I am not in the correct forum for this Question could you move it or tell where to post in the future? I don't want to break the rules.

Thank you for reading this and tell it to to everyone you can so that Train Derailment Syndrome TDS may one day be cured.

performance enhance = turbo
vcore=1.250 volts manual dram timings set to 5-5-5-15 pci express set to 100 that's about all I've done thus far.

what about the RAM frequency and voltage? if you leave that on AUTO, it'll increase with your FSB, and that might be your problem
set the RAM voltage to spec, and lower the RAM multiplier to the lowest for now

But my dram is manual, see above, set to 5-5-5-15 which isn't the auto setting for this board.

timmings are different from the voltage.......timming one ram is like make it work with the other one at overclock or high speeds and the voltage gives more power to the core of the cpu or rams so you can raise the overclock

First this Performance Enhance goes to Standard.
