My USB ports all stopped working, don't know if it's a software or hardware problem. I tried a restore point to no avail.
I have a PS2 mouse and keyboard but only have one PS2 port on my motherboard. Everything is working fine even my eSATA drive. Just USB's not working so I'm going to uninstall the drivers for all my USB and reinstal my bios to see. Could this be a motherboard problem? Any help will be appreciated. P.S It's my sig rig.

It probably wouln't hurt to run your mobo drivers again. I've never had all go out before.

I ran the mobo CD and uninstalled all USB drivers and windows found them again but still none are working.
EDIT - Starting to think the mobo is faulty.

Yea it's still under warranty but that's last thing I want to do because of the time it could take. Going to google a bit more then I'm thinking installing windows 7 again on a new partition, but I'm not 100% sure how to do this without installing over my original installation. I could just reinstall windows but what if that's not the problem.

Easiest way to check and see if its the motherboard... create a boot thumb drive on another PC, change your BIOS settings to boot from USB first. If it doesn't boot from the thumb drive, reinstalling windows won't change that.

Download a Linux Live CD and boot from that. If the keyboard/mouse and other USB devices (thumb drive, external USB drive) work, then you know it's OS.
If not, it's the MB. ..a
