is this a good overclocking board? I'm aiming at a 4.5 watercooled OC.. you think this board is good? btw I'm not set on going WC but do you also think 4.5 is attainable with air cooling?

It's a DFI, so of course it overclocks great. It will come down to whether or not you have a good stepping i7.

4.5 isn't going to happen on air cooling, and yes the DFI board overclocks well, but then you also have to deal with DFI's lack of customer service if (more like when) anything goes wrong.

I would stick with if. I've used 3 DFI boards, none of which have crapped out on me. But the general consensus is their customer support is terrible, I'll give you that

I was looking at newegg's dfi open box and i saw it at 160+ something..

since it's an open box and dfi's customer service is crappy.. should i just forget that?
