Default Gigabyte EP45 Extreme Ownz!

First of all thanks to almighty for this AMAZING board. So this board replaced my DFI P35 DK, with that i needed 1.344v (at load) to get 3.6ghz stable, slight bump in nb volts aswell. With this board, all i adjusted was fsb to 400, lower memory divider and vcore, everything else on auto. It does 3.6ghz with 0.1v Lower. This board is amazing, looks crazy and hasnt even broken a sweat yet. 4.0ghz stable here i come!

That surely is a nice board, but you are going to have to push quite a lot of vcore to hit 4.0Ghz.

It's near impossible to fry something because your PC automatically shuts off when something get's too hot. If you just keep an eye on the temperatures nothing can go wrong really.

He has a really good Q6600, I reckon the chip will need no more then 1.5v for 4Ghz
