i use an intel d946gz mobo....when i use clockgen and set the fsb from 266mhz to as little as 270mhz, it freezes.
then i have to remove the plug and then reconnect.
please help someone
i bought this mobo about last january. can't buy any other mobo anytime now.
anyway out? anyone?????????????
i'm desperate
i use intel core 2 duo e6300 at 1.86ghz
2gb dual channel ram 667mhz- 5-5-5-15

Move the jumpers on the motherboard over to clear the CMOS. Everything in the BIOS will be set back to default.

See your manual to find the jumper location on your board and how to do it.

Try an earlier number, maybe..........

i got the correct pll- IDT CV174
the problem is that if i cross 269mhz, then the comp freezes
default is 266mhz

Default I OC'd my D945GTP

Hey everyone.

I am new here and love it

Anyways, I looked around for months and finally found a tool to overclock my Intel D945GTP. I used CPUCooL. Worked wonders.

ICS954108 clock generator

On a Celeron D (3.47) OC'd to 3.9 at a stable 39°C
Starts to get unstable after that... system hangs up...

It took me forever but I used it successfully.
