Its an overclocking program im not sure what else it does, i dont own an ASUS board. When you buy a motherboard its not gonna have all the programs on it that come with it... you should have gotten a CD with all the drivers on it and there should be a couple programs on that disc too so look for it on that disc... thats how it was on my MOBO except its called EasyTune.
Hope that helped!

If it's what i think it is...I haven't gotten to play with mine yet(it's still in the box) It actually overclocks itself when underload, So when your hardcore gaming it overclocks the processor alittle for more power. Then when you finish and idle it brings it back down to stock. It's also a monitoring program for your cpu

Yeah but then it's not really a stable overclock so I suggest u overclock manually. Remember stickshift always beat automatic even with 25 HP less.

The only good thing AI Booster is good for is checking temps and voltages , but for ocing it is a waste of time ,better to o/c in the bios fo a stable o/c .. My 3700+ clocks to 2.5 in AI but goes to 3100mhz stable via the bios

Unless they vastly changed the program for AMD systems, that is not what it does. There is a setting in BIOS that is supposed to do this to a small degree, but your OC will not be as stable, or as high. Ai Booster is a nice little program for the novice OCer, a good way to get into the process if you are scared of messing around in the BIOS or find the settings there hard to manage. For serious overclocks, you will want to use the BIOS and PC Probe 2 to monitor temps and voltage. Also, I noticed that Ai Booster sucks down clock cycles, especially at higher overclocks, and at startup.
