Default Get a Core 2 Duo System at.... Home Depot!?

Since when does HomeDepot sell computers? While it is technically "hardware", it is a bit of a stretch. What's next?

To answer most of your questions: (1) a fridge cannot cool a PC (2) 64-bit OS for over 3.4GB (3) If a PCIe card fits, it should work (4) Resolution, not screen size (5) If you have a question, it is not news (6) Report, not respond to Spam (7) Single-Rail/Non-Modular PSUs are not always better than Multi-Rail/Modular (8) Sequential does not matter as much as random for OS drives

How so? In what world is home improvement and construction related to PC for 99.999% of the population? From an ecomonics standpoint, the products are not "complementary good". Selling PCs means they have stock it and hiring at least 1-2 ppl to know how to turn it on. Plus they now have to spend on advertising and compete against better positioned dedicated PC retailers.

Maybe they a lot of modders buy parts and equipment for the PCs?

This system also includes a gigabit LAN Adapter and a mighty 300 Watt power supply.

From their site. It is an $1900 computer with a E6300, 2gb of generic ram, a 500 gig hd, and integrated video. That is pretty bad deal.
