Default Lappy Graphics

ATI Radeon Xpress1270 HyperMemory any opinions?

Secondly, GeForce 8400, how well is WoW going to run? Or CS:S. I'm very skeptical at this point.

Don't know about warcraft, never played it, too nerdy. Counterstrike should run well though.

Hopefully getting an 8600 GT in it, so I'll be ok if I get that, but at worst, I'm getting the 8400M GS. Thank you for the info though.

I think an8400 could run either one of those fairly easily.

I run WoW on the laptop posted in my sig. It runs a 7600GS and it runs at max settings 1440x900 at a playable framerate, not perfect, but close. I also attribute to the less than optimal to vista still. heh.

my friend also has a dell with the ati x1400 mobility or w/e it may be, he has no problem running wow in a window, he had a few problems on full screen, but i think they have been fixed through patching and updates.

So i would say that your 8400 should run it just fine.
