Default Custom Laptop?

Is there anyway of making my own?
Just curious.

I see all these laptops out there, but none of them have what I want exactly.

You can find some nice barebone laptops on the internet and just buy the ram and CPU off newegg which is a lot cheaper. Just google barebone laptops and see what you can find.

This is exactly why I stopped coming here very often... most the info in the laptop forum here is written by folks who have no idea.

You can put together a custom laptop. No, it's choices aren't as robust as desktop. You start with a barebones and go from there; options can be monitor, hd, gpu, cpu, ram, and accessories. Think of it like a mobo with a case. It's also usually cheaper to just buy a full rig. Some builders do custom, just ask... killernotebooks is who I use and he does true custom (like heatsinks, etc.). You might still find an article on how to do a custom notebook at cpu magazine's online site.. Just google and don't bother asking here.

Goto RJtech.com to price out your own Clevo, MSI & Asus rigs (barebones).
