I was eying this today, HP laptop is driving me mad. It looks good and the only one I can find in that price range with those features. Now I just need the money for it but if thats one your looking at getting, I would say go for it. Nice features and a good price as far as I can tell.

Best bang for the buck? I'd buy it if I wanted a "laptop"..

On an different note, I am waiting for the cell batteries in laptops, that actually last more than a few hours so a laptop can truely be portable and not run out of battery after watching a movie.

Yes. ASUS laptops are basically shrinks of their desktop motherboards.

i have the asus f3sa this thing is a workhorse plays left 4 dead great, bioshock, tom clancys h.a.w.x im using xp version i dont want to kill the performance with vista... the t7500 core is great i painted mine, got it for $280 on ebay and it was in great shape what prices have you all seen?
