I forgot to mention one thing... I paid $1100 for it! Dell was offering a $500 off coupon, and offers like that are always going on.

You lucky bastard! I wish they had one of those now, I could upgrade a few things and still pay less. I looked at the notebooks you guys posted, and they are nice, but they are over my price limit even without tax and shipping. The 17" laptops are nice, but I think that they may be to big for me, and I figure I will save quite a bit of money and battery life by going for a 15.4".

Well I did order myself a new laptop, here are the upgrades I opted for:

(I would have went for the T7500 if it was less expensive, but I just dont think that 2mb cach and 200mhz is worth an extra $140)

I also picked up a Pelican 1495 Laptop Case. Well what do you guys think of the laptop? I think it will work pretty good, it is a lot faster than my old (broken:/) laptop. Any accessories you guys recomend getting?

Off the Inspirons, not the Vostros (could be wrong, going by what I saw in this thread)

The only difference between the two is the Vostro has an all-black interior.

What made you choose the Vostro over the Inspiron?

I chose the Vostro over the Inspiron, becuase the Vostra came with 2 gigs of ram for no extra charge, I could get a larger 7,200rpm hardrive for less, the Vosro has Media Direct, imo the Vostro looks better, and the Vostro with better parts cost about $200 less than the Inspiron.
