Vista settings wont save!
hey guys, i recently reformatted my laptop to install a fresh copy of vista and get rid of all the extra HP garbage that it came with(pavillion dv6000 is what i have) and ever since my reinstall my visual settings for vista will not save. Such as when i try to change my theme from vista to classic, it will be back to the vista theme when i reboot. Another thing is my mouse sensativity is also reset back to the default when i reboot. Anyone know what causes this?

Download and Install all the Windows Updates. If that does not work, Try doing another reformat. See if that has any effect on the issue at hand.
