Default Need Help with a First Laptop/Notebook

as far as gaming laptops go, can someone lead me in the direction of a relatively decent gaming laptop in the price range of 800-1200?

anything really to play World of Warcraft and F.E.A.R. Mainly.

first laptop and im only 17 but im just trying to reduce the amount of travel my desktop takes. i go from place to place every few days (moms house, brothers house, sisters house) and its taken a toll on my desktop. (8 blown hdd's, 3 video cards, 2 motherboards)

i know desktops arent made for travel but.. gets kinda boring at their houses
X..x

I don't know about F.E.A.R. but I could play WoW on an ancient laptop well enough to raid.

I don't think you need a high end PC for that. I really like my HP but it was more around 2k originally. I'd suggest looking into them if you are on a budget.

this laptop can run fear, but not HIGH... I tried to keep in between your budget, please tell me if I can go with a 1199.99$ laptop and I'll recommend something else...

ok i bookmarked them all >.>
i liked them.

only problem now is im having trouble getting money. just had to blow off $160
for some parts for my car that need to be changed and another $200 i have to save for another problem my car is having.

does anyone know if a barebone laptop would be cheaper? or would it end up being about the same price? only problem i have with them though is they look boring. >.> i like how
http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/sh...t%20powerhouse
