Default Cooling Solution for my Laptop, and a few other q's

I've got a unknown model Toshiba Satellite. its got a 3.33Ghz P4.
It does shut off if it heats up. I have a cooling pad here somewhere that I used with my Compaq Armada. I can't seem to find it. I'll probably just go get another one. I'm looking to get this laptop as cool as I can. I'm kinda considering doing a simpler w/c setup and use mineral oil or something simmilar. But if I was looking to upgrade the air cooling, what are my options?

Also, this laptop works great if you keep it cool. It does need more ram, has 300 something mb's of ram. Not enough IMO, but I'll get some ram once everything else is sorted. However the plastic on the screen back, has both corners missing, they've been cracked off, and one corner on th bottom is gone. Is there a way to fix the case of this laptop? I really like this laptop (Way better than the old Compaq Armada, heh.) and would like to fix up the little things wrong with it.

Water cool a laptop? Never heard of anyone doing that... One of my manager's husbands works for Dell and he says that companies improperly put on the heatsinks on laptops so they overheat so you have to send them in. Just get some better thermal compound and reseat the heatsink. You'll get much better temps.

I'll have to get CPU-Z or something to find out what this really is.
I don't think the fans are well either in this laptop. Where could I get replacements?
I don't think I would make up my own WC gear for it, but we'll see.

You could always try what I did with my Gateway, reseat it with AS5. My temps dropped about 20c load... The stuff that was on it before was so badly put on that it barely made contact with anything.
