Well ladys and gentlemen i finally did it. I needed a new laptop for school and so i settled on the Apple Macbook, the black version. 2.4ghz Core 2 Duo, 2gig RAM, 250gig HD 13" screen. And i msut say.....wow

This thing is not only beutiful looking but i cant believe the performance. It runs anything and everything and i love it. I have it duel booting with Vista at the moment as well so i can us it for both school and play .

The best part is im a pretty big gamer and i was alittle scared with buying a laptop that has intigrated x3100 graphics..but it is terrible. Yes its def not as good as my SLi 8800GTS's i have in my desktop but my new Macbook can play CSS, UT 2004 and even Call of Duty 4. Granted i have to play around with the settings so i can play them but its not unplayable! So all in all im very happy with my purchase. Anybody out there looking to buy an Apple or your still on the fence, i took the jump and i love it!

If your just looking for a gaming notebook i would suggest it. It can run some games decently BUT its not a higher end machine. Keep that in mind when you finish reading this, i dont want to get people repleying back saying that apples are crap cause they cant play games...sorry thats not the only reason i bought it

That's great news! I actually just bought a Macbook as well. It isn't the black one, but its the 2nd White one, so the only real difference is the HD size and obviously the paintjob xD.
I just didn't have the money to get that one. But ya, I was kinda of worried too about the Graphics card being able to play games, and it seems like everything is on the up and up.

Well if you have some time to spare, I think it'd be wise to wait a little bit, since they might release a slightly "upgraded" ones later on. I, myself, is waiting for this upgrade, hoping:
1. Current models go down in price, which I can pick up for cheaper
2. The upgrade is something significant, and I buy the newer version

Well if you can qualify for the student educational discount, you can even get the iPod Touch for free (after MIR)

There are rumors going, about the new Macbook having a Aluminium Chassis like the Macbook Pro Im also waiting for it...
