Default Asus G1 Laptop Making HIGH loud pitch constant noise

I just got my new laptop (Asus G1)
I started it up and everything works fine, including the speakers. I then played a game and used a headset with mic. I then left my computer on and came back after awhile when it was in screensaver mode. I clicked the mouse to exit the screen saver, then i took out the headset and mouse + battery, it then began to make a constant Screaming Loud Pitch noise.

It does this when my volume is set above 48/100%. I can play music fine as long as it is below 48, but if i start to turn it up it makes that loud annoying sound.

What do you think the problem/solution is? thanks
