Hello all,
so I turn on my laptop this morning and all I get is a blinking underscore symbol on the top right corner of the screen. It didn't post or anything. I put a windows disc in to see if I could boot from CD, but to no avail. So if this laptop is really done for, how would I recover the data on the HDD? Obviously if there is some sort of fix that'd be good, but ultimately I'm wishing I had done a backup of my data prior to this unfortunate event. Are there HDD enclosures for laptop drives? Wires so that I may use it in my desktop PC? It's a dell Inspiron 5150, btw. I'll provide additional info if required.
