Hi, I have a Asus W7J which has T5500 installed.
I am thinking to upgrade it to T8300 since it runs very slow on Vista. Is there any issue or concern that I have to worry about to upgrade a laptop CPU? Let me know, Thanks.

Heat issues are always lingering... It depends if your laptop heatsink setup can handle the new processor. But if it can, no problem as long as the mobo is compatible with it.

My warranty is almost expired,
I better look inside of this laptop closely and decide whether to upgrade it or not. My laptop right now has a quite high temp, because of the GPU seated beside it.

Well if you change your CPU wouldn't that void the warranty? That would be "opening" your computer...
