OK my sister needs a laptop, max budget of about $700. She does NOT need (or want) to max that out, so anything under that is perfectly fine.

She won't play games (obvious at this budget)
She just wants a basic web browsing laptop.
She will be doing schoolwork on it, HDD should be 120gb+. 5400rpm is fine
Screen should be 14-16 inches, no smaller or larger
Brand is not an issue, though not a no-name.
Needs 2gb of RAM.
I would like a seperate GPU but not sure if that fits in the budget.

I've looked at the Vostros, might be decent. Please no general suggestions, I'm looking for specific models. Thanks guys, and REP+ for helpful responses!

EDIT: re-read it and it's a bit messy. here's what the laptop needs. Anything better is also fair game. Just nothing worse than this:


120gb HDD
2GB RAM
14-16 inch screen (all resolutions)
GPU preferred, not necessary.
