Default Will I Get Better GPU Performance If I Upgrade to Faster RAM? (X3100)

I have HP Pavilion dv6809us.

i have seen a laptop i a shop that have the same GPU and 3.4 Vista Score!
See here: http://s154.photobucket.com/albums/s...d/need%20help/
why he have much higher score than me?
What is wrong?
is it maybe the slow RAM?

You have 3gb of ram? That should be more than enough.

If your video card takes memory from the ram, I think I may be able to help you out. Depending on whether you have an ATI or Nvidia card, go into the graphics control panel and find something called "Memory buffer"(Name may differ). That sets how much memory you want the card to pull from the ram. My laptop had an option to go from 32mb to 164mb. It helped quite a bit.

Run CPU-Z and post the RAM page.

We Mean to Ask you what is the GPU on Your Mainboard.... It seems to be a bottleneck....

We are Still unsure whether you have a GPU bottleneck or a graphics memory bottleneck.... If its Memory then you can always help by increasing shared Mem on board... go to Intel Website... update Drivers... Also you should go to Device Manager and look under Display adapters and tell us your Adapter....

But on the pc there are write:
INTEL graphics media accelerator X3100
with up to 358 shared video memory delivers sharp images for photo editing and more.

so i think the name of the GPU is X3100.
