Default Will this laptop play WoW?

Ok first off lets not be elitists, I am not asking if this will play it on max settings, its a laptop for my sister and it just needs to play it, I know currently she is playing it on a gma965.

Its a toshiba satellite a210
AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Tk-55 (1.8GHz, 1MB Level 2 Cache)
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium
1GB RAM - 2x512MB DDR2 (667 MHz)
120GB SATA HDD, 5400rpm
Built-in DVD Super-Multi Double Layer Drive functions:
15.4" Wide XGA TFT with TruBrite
ATI Radeon X1200 GPU

Yeah I know the x1200 isn't anything to write home to mom but I think it can handle WoW on low-medium settings.

yes. my friend plays on that exact same laptop(like EXACTLY) and he plays WoW fine. but raids are a bit troublesome because he gets about 10 fps in a 25 man raid and etc but still playable

(not on max settings but on max resolution 1280x800 with medium settings )

Yeah I'd say that'll play WoW just fine . My friends are ADDICTED to that game (and I mean LITERALLY addicted to it). And one of their rigs consists of a Pentium 3, ATI Radeon 7000 PCI, 256MB RAM.....and they play it just fine on that one. Its a little rough, but doable. So yeah, that laptop would probably play it medium settings AT WORST.

I'd buy 2 gigs of ram for it. 1 Gig of ram + Vista may not bog down every now on then.

I can play wow with a MX4000 (yes a GeForce4 card) at 1440x900 with everything else on its lowest setting, so you should be good.

All those extra frames do is create screen tearing. 4) FireGL and Quadro GPUs are for workstations running AutoCAD and that's why they cost so much. 5) Empty RAM is a bad thing. You want your programs and games utilizing everything they can.
