Default is there a better laptop for 1600?

I want a laptop especially for gaming and school. Especially for gaming. Is there a laptop out there better than this one for gaming for this price or less?

The HP one is better for gaming, no doubt

Thats not bad, but look at these:

Gateway P-7811FX - $1,449.99

Not only is that laptop more powerful than those two, but its cheaper and you can likely get it at your local best buy, meaning no shipping and if it doesn't work you can return it for another one! Did I mention that laptop has DDR3 memory?

Gateway is making some pretty powerful gaming laptops lately, and seem pretty nice while typing on it too! That Gateway is a monster. o___o;

Looks like it'll play it pretty well maxed (or nearly maxed) out

I don't know much about laptop performance
