I love this thing; I had toyed with both the Wind and the Asus eee, and found that MSI did a better job. So far, I don't have any complaints.

6 cell or 3 cell? I think you're the first person who liked the wind better (as compared to a 1000h to be fair.)

Where did you order it from? Buy.com canceled my 6 cell order, they are worthless.

I just got my 1000h eee and love it. I'll post a thread when I get my pictures all together and everything set up!

I got mine from a local shop. They only had the black version with a 3-cell battery, but it does last 2 hours under normal use. I'll be buying a 6-cell battery later on though. Mine was about $550.00 with tax; I would have ordered the 1000h eee, but I don't like buying laptops online. The 1000h and the Wind are basically the same, except yours has a 6 cell battery, and mine is only a 3-cell.

I don't plan on changing the OS, everything is perfect right now =)

I was waiting for the Dell, but school starts soon, and I don't know when it's going to be available.

I just got my 1000h about three weeks ago and I'm loving it. I've tested both and I think the keyboard on the 1000h is much better as well as the look in general. I've used the laptop every week for my classes. I'm the only one in class who doesn't have to sit near an outlet to work for the three hours I'm there. My battery life with the 6-cell has averaged around 6 hours depending on how bright I want the screen.
