I downloaded the beta .08 BIOS and installed it. This BIOS adds more VRAM as well as bringing back the overclock function they took out before. Now you can choose between 8%, 15% or 24% overclock in the BIOS and when you boot up can press Fn+F10 (only works while in AC atm) to enable Overclock. You will know this has happened because the power light will turn amber and if you have system control manager on it will display an overdrive icon momentarily. There are no temp differences with the overclock (voltage are stock). I will do some real life benching after food. Check out the pic!

EDIT: I've also noticed speedstep is improved further to gain battery life, even in OC mode the CPU frequancy is dropped to 290Mhz when idle.

How much of a gain in battery life was there? I can, currently, max out my battery life at around 2:15.

Hi there, just an update: There is a new official BIOS out for the Wind (1.09) It makes the computer faster than any previously (startup, shutdown and sleep especially). It also finalises the Overclock function so you can overclock 8%, 15% or 24%.
